Hey everyone,
I'm a 22yr old college student and I'm tired of getting spanked by my buddies ‘82 Cimarron! (It's actually a '91 Celica)
This Miata is my second car. First car was an '85 Celica which is still awesome, even though it's not driven much anymore.
I'm looking into turbos and have been trying to read as much as I can. I'm pretty good with mechanical work but haven't had much experience with electronics, basically building a Megasquirt is out of the question but I think I can handle a MSPNP or a Braineack built one.
Currently I'm looking at a 170-180 hp goal with a budget of about $3500.
I'm thinking a FM no electronic kit + MS should be right around my budget.
(I need a wb02 also, right? Is there anything else?)
Then obviously clutch and exhaust soon after.
Anyway enough rambling. Here are some pics.

And here's the Celica

Nice to meet everyone, back to reading now.
