Torque is the thing that people use to explain why they like their car when they know it's actually slow, or that old men brag about as they scowl at anything built post ~1972
HP wins races.
OP: say what you will about your rim style or performance, your car LOOKED phenomenal. I would have just put wider tires on and did engine junk and called it good.

Haha. Thanks guys. Im just not a v8 guy. They are sweet in hot rods, but i dont like them in miatas. Also every thing surrounding the v8swap is over priced in my opinion. It is the most exspensive pre- made swap car to do. I dont know what the deal is... all my buddys with lsx 240s and fd's do those swaps for cheap in comparison. And sean you are correct there is nothing sweeter than a miata that sounds like a supra! P.s. i sent you a pm sean hit me up man i need info!!

Yea. I know its gonna be tough. If i can get it in there, mounted correctly, i'll be good. There is a local shop by the name of grip industries that can wire a 1j into anything for a very reasonable price. The turbo ii diff is pretty easy, and i will probably try a driveshaftshop one piece drive shaft. i'm thinking of doing a suprastore.com 60-1 single with a neo safc and 440's. Im not sure how well it will fit with stock twins. I guess we will see after it gets here. Cant wait for the holidays to be over!!!

When you get your 15 post I will pm you again. As far as the mounts go there is no template I can really make for them I can get you some good pictures and a write up on how I did it but if I did another jz swap I would go a little different way with the mounts. Here are the two ways. One would be buy a tubular cross member from FM if you have the cash for it the blank one it $1000 this would be my preferred way but I am to cheap for that. The next would be similar to what people have done with the F20C swap. Cut out the center of the cross member completely to get the motor to sit lower. I think doing it this way you could get the whole motor under the hood and it would be a super sleeper. Let me know what you wanna do either way my mounts will not work with either solution. Now if you don't mind the motor sticking thru the hood of your super clean car then I will send you pics of my mounts. lol

My mounts are the end all be all of mounts and will dominate anything on the street period. If you loose just tell them your v tec didn't kick or your clutch is slipping.lol
