Hey everyone l, my name is Paul Schupp. I drive a 1993 Miata LE that I restored about a year and a half ago now. The plan for the car now is to put a t3/t4 turbo on it to make a nice 215-225 whp. I have most of the parts to do it, but I just need 460-550cc injector, the oil feed and return fittings for the block and a boost controller.

 

Car looks nice. Get a smaller turbo though.

A tiny turbo could get you to your power goal. No reason to go with an old school T3/T4 that will barely build any boost until after 4k rpm.

 

Full tilt, Probably $150 Ebay t3t4 and tacotaco manifold on 1.6, but he didn't specify.

You didn't mention an ECU. What version of Megasquirt are you planning to use?

Electronic or manual boost controller?

Where are you located?

What is your planned use of the car? Track days? Street driving? Autocross?

 

Most ebay t3/t4 are way to big to be fun on the 1.6 motor. Spool just comes on to late.

93LE are the best miata's. Lets see some interior shots. I have one 93LE and 2 94LE conversions.

 

the turbo i have is from cx racing. I have a MS pnp2, rx7 injectors on the way, electronic boost control solenoid on the way from diyautotune, innovate mtx-l plus and mtx-d gauges, custom downpipe my friend made(from his car that he ran for 1000miles, and el cheapo intercooler. The manifold is from my buddy, probably from ebay in all honesty.
