Intros
Hello guys, I finally got the chance to do introductions.
Anyway, a little about myself, I started out as a 240sx guy (when I was 18); had a 93 white hatch. I really wanted to get a project car; something I could spend blood sweat and tears on and after looking around landed on a 240. It was completely stock and I was almost done with piecing together a DIY turbo kit for the KA when the motor blew. Life happened had to get rid of it soon after and had to buy a reliable daily.
Was a Maxima guy for a while, when I had that for a daily.
Had a short stint with a 94 Talon TSI AWD, but due to college and no funds, it didn't last long.
Went to an 01 Audi 1.8T for a daily driver (loved that car btw). Not going to lie, I thought I knew how to work on cars until this car. If I went to go fix something, I broke something first, fixed it then had to fix the original problem. Sheesh these German cars take some getting used to when you tinker with them. After a while, broke and finishing up college, couldn't keep up with the $$$ maintenance; I had to sell.
I then had a chance to pick up a rust free [get this] a 93 miata. Not only this it's white! Didn't really realize until a bit later that nearly 7 years after the 240, I got the reincarnation. Both 93 and white. Now, graduated and a stable job, I finally feel like I got a chance at redemption; to actually fulfill a teenage dream (in my skin tight jeans) .
So far immediate plans is to work on wheels and suspension. I just bought a set of 6ul wheels, and FM springs; both used. In the middle of sourcing out a set of either Illuminas or Koni Yellows to pair with the springs (used).
That's all folks! (for now)
