yep, that right, a miata for $500. it runs, (barely), has a greddy tdo4h turbo, and some cheap ebay lowering coil sleeves. the car blows alot of light blue smoke out of the exhaust on heavy acceleration, so i am suspecting it was the turbo. i took the turbo apart mostly, and found that it needs a rebuild, so hopefully when i get that fixed, it will run without blowing smoke . i will need help setting up the car though, the p.o didnt hook up all the lines of the turbo correctly, and everything is kinda jank. some of the hoses from the vortech fmu (the lines on top) i think are routed incorrectly so i will need some assistance getting those sorted out, and i plan on retarding the timing to 8 degrees, since it has an intercooler. im just going to run a low boost build until i can save up money for a bigger and better turbo to run more boost, once i get a ms 2 pnp and build the little 1.6, so dont hate on me please xD. thanks guys, and cool forum

im betting you wasted your time rebuilding the turbo and you need to start doubling your investment and replace the motor.

Welcome! glad you made the account. I can help you get some of the stuff sorted out with that set up. I'd suggest running a leakdown test on the engine first, and running it NA for a while to get everything sorted out and make sure there is no issues before boosting again. Also since you need to smog it.

I have a few stock parts like the airbox and what not if you want to borrow them for a bit. And I can help you sort out the wiring and vacuum line mess you might have.
