Welcome, another "what's left of a Greddy kit" guy here as well. I'm not a fan of heat wrap (for the turbo components). You can make or buy a heat shield, pretty sure FM sells one and a BEGI one might work.

BTW Craigslist is THE place for cars. Not so much for parts, pretty slow with Miata stuff in my area.
