Miata noob- '92 1.6L
Hey everyone,
Just joined the Miata club with this 1992 NA that I traded an SUV for. What was going to be a daily drive is turning into a project car
235k on the clock with some raceland coils and low profile LED headlight mod. Removing engine here soon to freshen things up and do flywheel, clutch, mounts, etc.

Welcome to the forum. The 1.6 cars have a very weak rear differential that often fails at stock power. Swapping to a 1.8 diff and axles is a common upgrade.
The 1.8 cars also had bigger brakes, etc.
If you are doing the clutch, the rear main seal and trans seals are good to do while you are in there to prevent doing it twice.
Good luck.
