for my first year and a quarter as a 1A7... I can say I really have a special loathing for Lackland.
Unfortunately after my first and only year as "active duty" I wanted to finish school, since I really really really hated Kandahar, and so badly wanted to finish my ASE certification.
Now I am a reservist 2T2, nice and unbothered on the flightline, however I still step onto more, spaceous but stinky, humid musky 130s once and a while, but I deal with C17s and C5s mostly now. However I do still find myself in a ton of activated training and tours/minideployments. But at least I am no longer sitting very bored out of my mind and sweaty hot in a gunship no more (VICTORY!!)
My first two years was a lesson learned: Find yourself to be under good NCOs and Officers.
