Default MX3 Kompressor in Knoxville

Hey everyone,
I know I may catch flak I drive a SUPERcharged mxTHREE.. well it’s a 2300 lb FI BP05 car on MS2 and I figure this is a rare place where I can mention ‘MegaSquirt’ without someone bringing up ****. I’m in a tuning phase & May need advise, & some may find my build interesting..

1995 Mazda MX3
Kia BP05 swap
Mercedes M62 and intercooler (C230)
MSPNP2 mm9495
H&R Sport Springs, Konig Helium

I’m about to order a TDR overlay pulley (150mm), Kompressor M62 is limited by large clutched drive pulley but I should see around 8psi.

Audi scavenged charge pipes

Fabbed steel brackets & manifolds, installed in place of AC unit

Build started w FMU & general timing retard on original 1.6 (B6D). Fuel leak & engine fire last summer.. 😬 rebuilt w 1.8 BP, 9:1 comp, MSPNP

Welcome! I've always thought those mx3s looked sportier than they came from the factory. It should be a fun build.

TDR 150mm pulley in place lil’ close on BP Mx3

Had to lower engine to bolt her in.. Yay DIY. Even aftermarket bolt ons require imagination

My angle SC bracket. Like to redo in Aluminum honestly, but not today.

Thanks! It’s starting to dial in, no regrets about the MSPNP decision. Currently chasing down a few boost leaks and upping drive pulley size. Between M62 & Magnaflow she purrs like a 🐱 on idle and screams like a banshee on throttle 😋
