What's the handle look like? What's it made of? I may be able to make one for you. Post a pic.

It's just a cylindrical piece of steel with threaded ends for ball shaped caps. I used a 3/8" socket extension as a handle and it fit perfectly.

They are pretty common at junkyards.

Wasn't kidding. You call them up, pay them over the phone and pick up your low mileage motor. Here's a bunch within a couple hundred miles of you. All VVT

They don't like to haggle. You pay to play.

I use car-part.com. Searches almost all the local junkyards.

You can buy my auction car motor. But a lot of it is questionable

Hey here's a random question: Why does my steering feel all clunky at low speeds when I put the 15x9s on? This isn't from the tires rubbing on the shocks at full lock, since it happens at steering angles less than full lock.

under compression it might contact other things when not at full lock. Have you looked for rubbing in the wheel well?

No I haven't really investigated at all. Just wondering if other people have had that experience.

I wouldn't expect it to rub on anything since the fenders are rolled and the liners are tucked away. I will check today.

I didn't see anything indicating rubbing in the wheel well. I'm thinking the clunking noise may be related to below:

In other news, I have decided I need to replace all of the front ball joints and tie rod ends. My car started popping and alignment went to **** while I was in Seattle yesterday so I'm going to have it towed home and do it when I get back from winter vacation. My front passenger LBJ broke in half without any warning about 500 miles ago so I'm assuming the other ones aren't in the best shape either. It also gives me a perfect excuse to get some R package tie rods and calm down the bump steer a bit.

Not sure since I'm not registered yet. From a few forums it sounds like they are harder to source from them.
