Default New to the boosted game from Sacramento

I've had my miata for a while now and absolutely love it. Best car I've ever owned. Given me no problems (knock, knock), except for my radiator exploding due to a bad thermostat. Im ready to add some forced induction to my car so I thought I should probably join this..

Here's how it sits now. Its a 2000 5spd with 115k on the clock

the after Miatas at MRLS shot

Mods:
Tein s-tech lowering springs
Boss Frog clearview rollbar
Koyo aluminum radiator
Stopech drilled/slotted rotors
Roadster sport 3 axleback
Rota Grid v 15x8 et0
Toyo Extensa HP 195/50/15
Tint 5% rear 20% sides 50% front
6000k HID 3000k fogs

Im picking up a MS3 by Rev tomorrow. I thought this would be a good place to get started on my build and to learn about the world of tuning.

Welcome, I'm in Sacramento too
Nice car, and yes, this place is hands down the only miata site worth visiting.
Rev makes awesome MS3 units, good choice.

I would suggest getting rid of the s** techs and get proper suspension, otherwise car looks clean.

It's on my to do list. Im still contemplating wether or not to get coils or Koni yellows to match the springs.

Are you talking about color matching? If so, stap... Look into function over 'looks' first then see which functioning part looks best with what you're going for. Through this I've decided for my own interests/goals with my vehicle I will more than likely NEVER do coils For me the cons out weigh pros. I DD mine mostly and expect to do fun track days when its more sorted out. Also, not interested in stance or scraping my beautiful MSM

I'm not talking about the color..... to be more clear I'm thinking about koni yellows to PAIR with lowering springs.

I don't give a **** about color

s-techs are not good. actually most lowering springs suck on miata's except for FM
koni yellows are also mediocre at best and if buying shocks they would be last on my list.

do some research we have a ton of awesome suspension threads and you'll see why I said the above.
