Yeah, if I take the ECU out of the case there is a little USB B port on the stand off board. It sits right next to the Micro SD card slot. I can connect to that port and it passes the connection test. Then, from there, I can get into a new project in TunerStudio and it seems that I can burn settings to the controller. How can I verify if my firmware is residing on the processor properly? I ran a serial loop back test today on my native serial port using a standard RS232/DB9 straight through cable and the cable and port passed the loop back test with pins 2/3 bridged. So I can't connect through the ECU serial port.

If I continue with TunerStudio through the USB B port and calibrate TPS and then burn to the ECU and move to the next step of attempting base timing, the car just misfires a bunch and doesn't attain any type of steady idle. I can't verify base timing in this manner. Anyway, looking for someone to help consult a bit or offer some direction.
