hey fellow Miata owners my names Chris, and though I'm a noob at this forum thing I'm gonna give this my best shot please bare with me
. So my 93 has really taken me for the ride of my life but, let's go where it all happened back Before I owned one. I thought miata's looked cool but never really payed attention to them much. Until I spotted an amazingly, beautiful, Blue 10th anniversary addition 6speed miata! At that moment I wanted it, I wanted it soo bad I took myself right into that dealer to ask for a trade in. Now like most teens think the famous "I can do anything" phrase, yea sadly that was me...
so there I was waiting on a trade value on a 99 Pontiac grand prix, that had a SCREAMING heater motor among other problems and with the miata value at 10gs... Yep Not gonna happen. Might as well have stamped IDIOT on the forehead. I at least got a good test drive which of course made me want a miata more. So I grew a brain an got outta high school and about four years outta that hell hole Landed me a miata! Now for the ride. This car has been a real treat for me to learn on. I have never really gotten ***** deep in an engine before, and after finding a very damaged cyl#4 spark plug along with metal dancing around in there I knew it was time. so I started buying parts, of course with research. So far I have got 79mm 8.5:1 wisco pistons, 1mm over sized valves, port n polish, cam gears, MS PnP on the way, 4-2-1 Race land header, ebach sway bars, strut brace, ebay Gv lip, Enkie 15x7 front and 15x8 rear, and my custom door card at the moment. I'm gonna get the other one done this weekend. well that's pretty much it here's some pics Enjoy
