Hey guys/girls. I'm looking to pick up my first Miata very soon and hopefully within several months, have a decent, conservative turbo build along with some suspension upgrades. Right now, I have a few cars(1992 Buick century-DD/work car, '04 grand Cherokee for hauling parts, and my 1972 Datsun 240z with a fully built NA motor(for sale/trade)
Just looking to make some friends, pick up my first Miata, start some auto-X and eventually have a turbo build in progress. Thanks for having me!

Haha!! Thanks for the heads up :-) does that mean I'm the only straight guy here who loves these cars?
My one buddy just completed a nice, simple turbo build on his '93...he says it dyno'd about 190rwhp on 93 pump, using a mix of RX-7 injectors, good fmic and piping and a conservative 7psi tune. His car is silver, black soft top, and a few suspension goodies. Not sure if he's on here or not, haven't takes to him yet about this site. But the car is very clean and an excellent driver.

 

On a side note, how many posts before I can post to the classifieds? I'm looking to trade/sell my '72 240z for a Miata. Just curious, I know most forums have a post count you must meet first.

Is your buddy using a MS for his tune? If not then he probably isn't on this site since he has AIDZ.

 

I believe he is. I've only seen his car once since it was finished, but we never talked about EM.

 

Welcome! there are a ton of miatas for sale on here, take a look at them all, they all seem to be decently priced. and, if your friend ISNT on here, get his *** on!!!!

 

Hopefully I'll be buying one within a week....I have a guy coming tomorrow to look at my Datsun so if all goes well...Miata...then start on the turbo build soon afterwards.

I'll talk to him and see if he's on here....if not ill try to get him on here.

Yep...not too far, about 30 min or so from me.

Hopefully something happens this week and I'll have the car before the weekend. It'd be nice to have something fun to drive again on weekends and nice days.
