I've been lurking on the forum for quite some time just for all kinds of Miata information. I'm right in the middle of building a 1.8 vvt up for boost. going to be running flying miatas weiscos, manly rods, and billet main caps from mazworx. I'm planning on running an EFR 6758 with a Kraken exhaust setup. There is a long way to go but hopefully, everything goes well.

i bought the car bone stock besides some American racing wheels that I replaced with these 15x8 advanti storms and have done quite a bit of work to it since and spent way to much money on it lol. ive got xidas, flying miata sway bars, supermiata poly bushings, extended lower ball joints, power steering delete, poly diff bushings, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. in terms of engine mods, I mainly have stuff to prepare for when it's boosted. I'm running on an ms3 basic and have a radium fuel rail with ID 1050x injectors, skunk 2 intake manifold, ls coils, Mishimoto radiator and a Roadster Sport 4 exhaust. i also have a cat delete because right now my engine burns so much oil that it will start to clog up a cat if i keep it in there very long lol. i much prefer the volume with the cat installed but don't want to trash a cat for no reason. I'm honestly amazed my engine runs halfway decent i have 60 psi in one cylinder and 100 in the others lol. it makes about 100hp according to virtual dyno. These pictures are a bit old but I also now have a hard dog rollbar and door bars. made the chassis so much stiffer. I have an engine build in the works but the last machine shop had my stuff for 6 months and didn't do **** with it in that time when they said they could be done in like 2 months so I'm looking for a new machine shop now. I have the engine build i mentioned previously planned of course with a supermiata 4 puck clutch going in and a 6 speed going in at the same time. I just ordered the efr 6758 and lowmount downpipe today from kraken as he hade a 20% off sale so had to take advantage of that. there's probably lots of things I'm forgetting but here ya go. here's some pics. also my hardtop is green not black so if anyone happens to have a red one and wants a green one lmk lol.

Heck yeah dude, looks like you're well on your way to boosted greatness! Bummer to hear the machine shop lagged on your stuff. What all do you have planned for the engine build? You're gonna drop the new engine in before boosting, yeah?

I've been wanting to get a set of door bars for a while now, thanks for reminding me haha.

what ive got planned for the engine is 84mm flying miata spec weiscos, manly rods, mazworx billet main caps, arp head and main studs, Supertech double light springs, stage 2 upgraded vvt oil pump, fluiddampr balancer, and i think that's basically it. nothing to revolutionary. my kraken low-mount manifold just came in today after 10 months of waiting so that's exciting. the plan originally was to drop the engine in before boost enjoy that for a while and break it in and whatnot but since this has taken so much longer than anticipated i might be able to have all the turbo stuff ready to go on before the engines done. I asked on here if anyone knew about any machine shops and the first few i called in portland oregon were all 6 months out before they would even touch anything of mine but someone recommended another machine shop that seems pretty legit that isn't busy at all right now that's located a lot closer to me. Only problem is that because I expected the machine shop to take at least a few months I kinda spent all the machine shop money on the turbo and downpipe from Kraken yesterday. they were 20% off and he usually never has sales. So I'm going to have to either pull some money out of my *** or delay the machine shop.
