Hi guys,
My name is Lewis, I am from the UK. I have a 1995 1.6 Mx5 which I am looking to turbo. I have joined here to gain the knowledge about how to go about that as a bunch of people from our UK forum (Mx5 Nutz) have recommended this place.
So here is a snippet of my build so far...
Started off with this which I got as a present for my 21st birthday/Graduation which fell on the same day:
The modding and detailing then began!:
Then I picked up some Rs Watanabe F8's:
Paintwork after detailing:
And finally, how the car looks now with a hard top fitted and GV front lip:

Damn the shine on your car is amazing. Nice job. All by hand, or buffer? If your attention to detail with the turbo install is the same you ought to have a great build once you are finished.
Where in the UK? I spent a few weeks traveling about over there a couple years ago, and my sis lives in Wales (near Caernarfon).

Mostly I detail by hand, but in those photo's I posted it was after machine polishing it with a rotary polisher. First machine polisher I had ever done.
I am in Wales this weekend strangely enough! going to an Mx5 meet, but I currently live in Manchester.
With regards to the turbo build, I intend on learning and collecting parts over the next year so that everything will be spot on once done.
