Hi all,

I just bought my first Miata, this auto 1999 NB with a blown head gasket. I am putting in a used motor to get it running then I'll manual swap it. The long term plan is to slowly rebuild the stock motor for boost which is where I'm sure this forum will come in handy.

I'm in the Cleveland area and will be working on it at a DIY garage up this way. Stoked to get started!

 

Welcome, lots of good info here. I'm in the Cleveland area also, usually out and about in my gray NB2. I have never heard of wingman garage but it seems like a cool concept.

 

Thanks! It seems like Ohio has a ton of Miata owners which is awesome. I'll have to keep an eye out for you. I'm up in Euclid.

Wingman is relatively new. They started in 2021 and are down in Wadsworth but are looking to open a second shop closer to the city.

 

Damn we are almost neighbors haha, I am in Mayfield. And join Ohio Miata Owners on facebook, we don't do as many group drives and stuff as we used to but its a good group of people, and we still do small things here and there.
