Default New to Miata platform

Hey folks, long time JDM scene guy STi, Evos, GTR and just picked up a clean base model 99 NB with plans to build from the ground up. Looking forward to learning and sharing my journey!

Best

Glad to have you here! What're you going to be using the car for?

Welcome! With your car background I think you will love/appreciate the nb platform. They feel so unlike other cars and really don't take much power to feel fast.

Keep us posted on the build and start a build thread when you are ready!

thank folks, I want to build it into a 50/50 street/track build. Starting off this year, I think i'm going to get some wheels, and work on the suspension first: coilovers, sway bars, endlinks, strut tower brace, suspension bushing replacement. Come spring, I'll work on the bottom end, full motorbuild. Then fall of next year I would look into FI. I'll probably sprinkling some exterior mods in during the next year or two: nb2 front bumper, MSM head lights, etc. It's been fun researching
