Default New to the site

Figured I'd make a first post here before scouring the site for information and little trinkets for sale. Currently drive a 97 M Edition, bagged on K Sport air struts, management through V2 digital. Rolling on 15x10 Schmidt TH Lines with gold hardware. Performance is limited to Cobalt exhaust and a fabbed up intake. Numerous other modifications done, just don't see the whole point in listing everything. Looking forward to getting advice as well as getting **** from everyone

That.. is the first miata on bags I've ever seen. I'm kind of impressed, really. It probably handles better than most slammed coilover equipped cars when you raise it.

That being said.. poor miata.

Handles exceptionally well when raised, only laid out for car meets, gatherings, etc. that and I live in Miami and, while I like lowered cars, our roads aren't exactly the nicest.

Do you have any pics of it at various heights? I'm curious to see how the camber changes as the height is increased, etc.

A little silly IMO but since you can still raise it up and drive it it's less broken than most stance-out junk. you'll notice you haven't received any negative props yet lol! As long as the car can still handle and drive well then we hate a lot less.

Looks pretty clean. +1 for more pics of it at a reasonable ride height.

This is cruising on highway.
Obviously I can go much higher, but this is m preferred ride height. Can go over speedbumps easily when fully raised and never scrape

Camber in rear when laid out. Laying frame, I'm -4.1 front -7.2 rear, ride height I'm -2 front -3.1 rear. Fully raised I'm -.2 front -.6 rear

I don't hate. Your suspension and your car are still functional. Spending the money to make the car's capabilities flexible is completely different than rendering a car useless. It is so easy to do it cheap and wrong. Props.

Needs boost badly to make up for the extra weight. How much was added, btw?

Doubtful that much more was added, the tank, compressor, and manifold are fairly lightweight. And yea, does need boost. Currently working with another member for their FMII kit that's for sale in another thread. Just have to budget out what I can afford doing, would ideally like to build my head before boosting, don't want to blow anything up 😒

My mistake in wording, rebuilding the head. There's some issues I need to tend to, and I might as well upgrade while it's out. I don't have high aspirations for power, 200-240whp is more than enough for me

If you're gonna go ahead and dick around with the head, may as well throw pistons and rods in it...

Start reading some build threads. You'll get a pretty good idea of what you have to do.

Much appreciated! Yea I definitely need to do a bunch more research. I don't expect answers to be given to me, but helpful hints and pointers from those experienced is always welcome. Currently, my budget is roughly 8k overall for my turbo build, so gonna try to spread it as effectively as I can
