newb checking in
new to the forum but not miatas.been lurking for a while.can someone point me in the direction of how to post something in the classified section?i have a fm kit on the cheap.but it wont let me post as i am a newb.help...

seems like a lot of rules for an internet forum

it's a community. not craigslist. you don't wanna be part of the community, go sell your crap on craigslist. I'm not hostile at all, we just don't waste time with long explanations anymore because we deal with dozens of shady dbag n00bs like you on a regular basis.

As pointed out, Craigslist is the place where strangers who don't wish to become part of a community sell goods in a nearly anonymous fashion. Forums are places to share ideas, successes, failures, experiences, and cat pictures. And we rely upon reputation for our occasional dealings because we don't have the luxury of exchanging goods and funds in person as they do on CL. If someone contributes, it means something. It indicates they value our community or see its benefit and wish to see it perpetuated. You are looking to do the cultural equivalent of sitting down at a table full of strangers in a restaurant and taking one of their wine glasses and drinking from it without even saying hello. I realize this is not how you envision your actions and likely aren't a rude person at all. I'm not asking you to leave the table. Just limiting you to the glass of wine in your hand and not offering to share my ribeye at this point. That's all.
