Default Newb DIY tomorrow.... oh man...

Hey all!

Been lurking for a while, buying a turbo kit tomorrow for my 90 POS (as of now... work in progress for sure).

Just wanted to say hey, if anyone has any guidance, I'm about to post in the DIY section. Any help would be.. well.. helpful

Thanks!
Kev

newb here too, but in the middle of begi-s shanghai install...
If you can do it, scrub and clean the underside of your car thoroughly. Although there are some areas that you can't really see until the exhaust manifold is off, it still helps to have it as clean as you can.

I realized this when I had the manifold off and saw how dirty the side of the block is. Took a good hour of spraying, brushing, scrubbing and rinsing. All is good now.

Also, tapping the pan is not hard at all.
