Default Newbie

Hi all just wanted to introduce myself. Newbie from Toronto Canada. 96M with MP62. Doing a ground up build right now and may switch over to turbo as my car is 90% track car and casual driving when i am not with the family. Young kid so don't get that much time but do want to surf and learn to determine where I would go with my ride if the sc doesn't give me all of what I expect on the track. Currently the car is quick but far from scary fast so the journey begins.

Mine is also to be a toy but with two kids under 6 I seem to only see it in the garage while I look for their toys. Clearly time to enjoy it is limited but at least it is there.

T; you should look for posts made by "FormerDatsun510Man". I think he knows a lot about SCs and their limit. I'm not too sure you can get to 250whp without many hassles with yours but he can answer a lot of questions. He hangs around here and at miata.net. He's a really nice guy (his name is Bill) and always willing to assist.

I know there is another forum member who races his. I just can't recall his name!

No worries on the humor I missed. Rafa I will send a note out to FormerDatsun as he seems in the know and has 240 rwh. Nothing to sneeze at to be sure. On another not Rafa I think I will be going with 9:1 pistons to be save and leave the 11:1 experiment to someone else.
