Newbie in the 408
Greetings,
My name is Corey, and I'm a 27 years IT professional, currently unemployed. I got my 1994 LBM Turbo back in January. It was my dad's daily driver from when he bought it new till about 2009. He moved on to Mercedes roadsters, and gave this to me as a college graduation present. It was supercharged for many years, but he decided he wanted to do something different, so went turbo back in 2003 or so. I helped out with a lot of the work growing up, but wasn't really into cars until this was almost already left to sit.
It has a bell turbo kit with a few changes, running at 10 psi with about 180k on the motor, 260k on the chassis. Base model, no torsen, a LINK ecu, BSP headlights... I believe it is lowered on GYB shocks and Eibach springs, but I haven't had to put the car up on the lift recently, so I could be wrong about the springs. I came from 80s Hondas, so this has been my first real experience with RWD, and I'm still trying to work out the kinks in my handling. It has never been dyno'd, so I have no clue how much power it is actually putting down, but I can keep up with my brother's 2005 STI almost until I run out of gear, so 125-130.
I hope to find some useful information when my car starts to inevitably fall apart.
