Hey everybody! I'm Bradley and apparently cars hate me! That being said, I have a 1991 NA6 Miata that a bought around October of last year. It was gonna be my fun turbo street project but I took it to the track once and now I want to RACE. Second time out, however, I blew the motor. 178,000 miles and RIP. Well...fried the rings on the way home overheating it but who keeps track? Now I have the motor out and i'm doing a full rebuild. Forged rods, upgraded oil pump, conversion to big nose crank, etc... So i'm hoping to make some friends and gain some much needed knowledge from you guys! Next post going in engine performance ASAP.

 

Those rods and the oil pump will also fit in a 1.8 and the engine will breathe much better. Consider Supertech light double valve springs if you are building an engine.
