Hey everyone ! I'm Tyler, 23 years old, currently living in El Paso TX. Within the last couple years I've fallen in love with japanese imports, specifically Mazda's. And after drooling over cars on Craigslist for long enough I acted on impulse an bought a 97 STO edition. No torsen, and too expensive for what it was. My mistake ! Which leads me to here, I'm on the forums now to hopefully learn from the wealth of knowledge people have and maybe get some good laughs along with way and make a few friends.






That is how it sits now, after cruising around bone stock I went and got myself some cheap Drag DR54's on 205 nitto neo-gens, with the addition of these as well. Also replaced a door handle, changed all fluids, and other random things while getting to know the car better.




So now I'm low and slow. Well it's low for me anyway. Also bought this, seems to be relevant information. TONS of formulas and math, and decent mechanical information and in depth descriptions of how turbo chargers work and ****.





Goals within the next couple months. Learn, learn, learn... And begin piecing together a home brewed turbo system. No kits for me, I wanna build it not buy it. Shooting for around 180rwhp, but I'll be happy with 150-160 with a good tune and the "hard" work done by me.
