Default Noob from Oregon

Hello I’m jon and live in Oregon , just finished building a locost super7 replica with a bp4w and 5 speed out of a 99. It has a Mazda rx8 lsd rearend and suspension. (Great combination for my usage) I’ve stripped the Harness to its bare essentials and runs well on stock ecu with autometer gauges. I’m currently In the collecting phase of assembling a turbo kit . So far I’ve got the turbo (modified Hyundai with vband) , manifold (Chinese log modified with vband) , injectors , variable pressure fuel regulator Bosch pump
and used hydra ems (mistakingly without a harness adapter). I’m mostly trying to snipe marketplace forums for a better (still cheap though) alternatives to the hydra or at least looking for a harness also trying to learn from lurking in the shadows reading others forums. I realize everyone suggests (ms) but I’m trying to keep this thing cheap just for the proof of concept .

Nice! Which wheels are these?

Being a 99 means you can use an MS2 if you want to do that on the cheap. PnP version makes things easy, or you can build a breakout harness. Speeduino could also be an option (do not trust it yet for my daily, but would definitely be willing to try it on a locost).

- I’ve got a couple burns from it already lol. Thank for the positive comment

- I’ll look deeper into the ms2 pnp . I got the hydra for $100 with its laptop running 2.7 thanks

- the wheels are 16” from a ford ranger I got for $80 and refinished them in bmw bronze paint code . The bolt right up to the rx8 spindles
