Default Noob in SoCal - looking to pickup my first Miata

I'm new to this forum and am trying to learn all I can before buying a miata. I'm currently looking for one to serve double duty for daily and the occasional track day. I looked at two NAs for sale in my area yesterday, but they were pretty rough. I'd like to find a well-cared for one to abuse.

If I can find one with as many of the following mods as possible, it would be ideal: hardtop, quality suspension (reputable coilovers or bilstein/koni shocks with FM springs), LSD, 205 or 225 RS3s or Direzzas, Hard dog roll bar.

Is there anything else I should consider as a minimum for good dual purpose car?

Thanks

picked one up this weekend. I wasn't looking for a mazdaspeed, but I found this and it is in really good shape. So many of the miatas I looked at were thrashed.

It came with most of the mods I was looking for: VMAXX coil overs, 949 wheels, RS-3s, and Hard Dog roll bar. Having only driven a stock '91 previously, I wasn't expecting this level of grip! 225 RS-3s are insane!
