Hey, whats up people? My name is Johnathan and obviously, I'm a new guy. I've been a member of other forums but I was never really active in the community. I am hoping that will be different here because I love my Mimi and want to learn as much as I can about her. I live in Albertville, MN and I only know two people close by that own a Miata. If any one on here is in the area, message me! I'd love to check out your car. So far I've done some minor suspension upgrades and in the future I'm looking to go boosted. I got my eyes on that MSPNP right now and looking to get that after the holidays!

Any ideas on the power goals your looking for?

 

I've never "built" a car so I'm not really sure what to aim for. I would say at least 170 on a boosted stock long block. I was thinking about having the head rebuilt. I think the valves are "leaking" at 5500 and up I start to hear a whistle. I read in a book that was the symptom for bad valve seats.
