Hi all. I've been lurking for a bit and figured I would try to knock off the n00b stench. I recently re-acquired a 94 Miata. I bought it for my daughter 4 years ago. She has thrashed it a bit over the years. It recently developed an oil pan leak that "Daddy" needs to fix. I know the motor has to come out...not a big deal but I didn't really have the time. I bought her a different car and put the Miata in the garage. About that time I remembered how fun that little beast was to drive and decided it was "project time"! It has 189k on it and smokes just a bit when cold. When I pull the motor I'm going to go through it and may add some "forged stuff". I don't plan on going more than 250whp.....but you all know how that goes. I'm still in the planning stage so I'll be searching the site quite often. /n00b

I am in the Tampa area as well (Plant City). There are a few of us in the area. Maybe I will see you and the car sometime at a future Miata meet.
