Noobie to miataturbo but not to Miatas!
Greetings all...
I'm a Jersey girl, 23, and obsessed with miatas! I'm no stranger to Miatas, it was my first car, which I absolutely fell in love with and brought me into the world of cars! I have done everything from working on them, learning by doing, learning by things breaking :/, going to autocross & ice-racing events, and I love driving them! I have had 2 now, a 97 and a 90. Here is the before and after of the 1990, which I'm currently building. It's gone from red to blue, and now with a emptied engine bay, repainted, and ready for a fully built motor!

the built motor better not have the number 6 anywhere in the amount of liters it is.
the fire extinguisher just threw me back to the days of the 17 sec honda civic ricer. good for a chuckle. thanks.

In honor of you Scott I'm building a 1.8 for my 90. I should have done it the last time i motor swapped :-/.
Left it cuz you never know if you will need it!
Take it from someone who has personal experience with an engine fire. That extinguisher won't put out a smoldering cigar. My engine fire took a complete 40# extinguisher and had only been blazing (hood closed) for about 20 seconds.
They are snug with a little room around, but a perfect fit to me. I kept the brackets from the fd seats but I had to customize their length and the existing points in the car for the bolts to go into to hold down the seats. I put 2 extra metal brackets across each seat horizontally to hold them down and secured them from underneath the car by drilling through the bottom and placing an extra sheet of metal with a nut to hold it in. I'll have to post pics to show you.
