Noon from Washington state.
I thought I'd take the time to De-noob myself. Hi I'm Mike, I'm in Tacoma Washington. I was an automotive technician for the first 10 years of my adult life. I have since moved into the private protection field. Many years ago I maintained a Miata for the spec Miata class in the ICSCC for the owner of the shop I worked at. I was never a huge fan of them until I got my NA in a trade last year. Originally I was just going to make it a small project and then sell it. After selling my white z32 TT, I haven't had a project car for along time. This car is possibly the most fun I've had in a car. Obviously with some things omitted. So I'm building a second engine and currently have the body torn down and prepped for paint. Not exactly a car I plan to get rid of now.
Welcome, always good to see another person from Washington. I'm currently north of Seattle but I'll be moving to the Tacoma area at the end of the month. What are the plans for the car besides the engine/paint?
What's bringing you down this way?

Oops sorry it's a 1.8 I have a 95. I've noticed a few Western Washington people. We should plan a meet or Cruise before the end of Summer

Work/house. Actually just the house, I'm only cutting about 10ish minutes off my hour+ commute, but a much bigger garage and stuff. There is a Washington miata thread in General I believe, we sometimes try to coordinate **** there, although I haven't gone to any meets or anything.
Own any cats? If so we require pics

I don't have any cats.
I use to be very accommodating. I knew it was like to be attacked who was just starting out so I let people who don't have money to Tool into my box. But eventually a lot of things went missing that I found out that they figured they don't have to buy tools because I had them and I can just take them whenever they wanted. that fried me and then I pretty much stopped loaning tools out even in the shop unless I knew that person was going to bring it back and bring it back in a clean condition.
