Hello from the St. Louis area,
Not my first time on the forum but the first since I've had this car. Miata #3 is a 1992 body 195k, 1990 engine 125kish (SNC i know...) and 5 speed 151k from my 1991 parts car.
I purchased this car w/hardtop for $500 running, but in need of a clutch in November '16. The P/O claimed it was not driveable, I drove it to work for 2 months before the clutch gave out entirely. Using what I had, I replaced all transmission components from out of my blue car, and put it all back together. 4k miles later still great, but I know a clutch is honestly one of the next mods I'll have to make as I'm getting closer to finishing the refresh/maintenance, and moving on to go fast bits. The mods/future mods list is attached as an Excel table it's pretty easy to understand. I'm open to suggestions for mods, especially in the blue "undecided" areas.
Goals for the car are a street driven daily that turns heads and is more fun than about anything else on the road. I'd like to see a reliable-ish (i know... $$$) and 200, maybe 220 whp ideally and I feel like I have a decent understanding of what's needed to get there. That said, I know there's TONS to learn, specifically about MSPNP for me personally so I'll be around.
