My son and I flew half way across the country to purchase a 2002 vivid yellow Miata back in July. The car was/is sporting the FM Stage 1 turbo kit (Voodoo II box) as well as a few other things and having owned another yellow turbo vehicle (1991 300ZX TT) I was quick to pick this one up on the recommendation of a friend.

So far the car has been fun to drive but has also required some maintenance. I did the timing belt and assorted things that go along with that as well as pulled and rebuilt the pinion gear in the power steering. I thought the front main was leaking so figured I had that sorted post timing belt day but it turned out to be the front half moon on the oil pan so the motor was then pulled and the oil pan was properly resealed along with taking care of the rear main while it was out.

After all the maintenance was done I began the process of installing some upgrades I had purchased. MS3Pro3, AEM WB, ID1050x injectors w/Radium fuel rail, DW200 and direct wire kit, EBC (not installed yet). Car starts and runs but I need to find a good remote or local tuner to do an actual tune.
