Default Rusty Miata from Toronto

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a long time but I don't post much on forums, but I'm starting to get more serious with my car so I figured I would make a post here.

I have a silver 2000 with 80,000km with 15x8 6UL's and Star Specs right now, RB 1.125" front sway, 3.1 torsen and some coilovers that I hate. Just ordered a set of 700/400 Xida CS yesterday though, so I guess I should have those in a few weeks. I've just been doing autox's so far, I've had a couple FTD's this year and at least won my class at the rest of them, but now that I have a better job I'm going to get more into tracking and inevitably throwing even more money than I should at the car. I came from a few Supras so I miss the boosted feeling, so I'm sure it won't be long before I go down that path as well.

The one downside to this car is that it's got a pretty fair amount of rust underneath. Nothing on the body, and nothing that's eating through anything...but enough to make working on it a major pain in the ***. I winter drive the **** out of it though, so with all the salt they put down here I'd probably be asking too much by wanting a clean underbody. It's just too much fun to shove in a garage all winter...

So hopefully I can gather enough good info here to get myself boosted and broke all over again!

My solution to wanting to drive my Miata in the winter: '96 Lincoln MkVIII for $900.

Because V8 + RWD = perfect winter car.

But I can snow drift roofless ...granted I get covered in snow when I spin out but it's sometimes worth it.
