Hello all, my names Joe and Im doing as I was told to introduce myself.
Hailing from merry old England

Driving a rust bucket '95 intending to drift the thing, but more importantly, turbo it!

I'm calling bullshit on this! Old England isn't merry, it's jolly.

Welcome, Joe. My advice is to keep the drifting to yourself on this forum. It's considered as macho as figure skating around here.

Yes, Miatas make terrible drift cars. They have a low polar moment of inertia which makes them good as race cars but absolutely awful for drifting. The Nissan Silvia or 240sx is much better suited for the purpose.
