yea I've got an oilcooler in mind sixshooter, thanks for the many compliments.
@kyle third of the way..that gasket at shop cost is hardly much..it was under 100 and it drops compression to 8s. but from what ive been told and read those pistons will be fine. Ive picked pdexta's brain a few times.
everything in his engine is stock except rods, and of course he has the 1.8. i mean is this really that big of a deal for 250hp? I had them ultrasonically cleaned at least ahah
just sourced another 1.6 block n head, crank has no cracks.
as for the bars with soft top, I told him I was going hard top.. and I needed it to just work with the soft top, those bars could of been swept back more, and then he commented saying I dont know if this will even pass spec at a track,the bars are pretty steep. He wants just about the cost of the cage to sweep it back 6inches, so I disagree.. I will not continue business with them. Funny how word travels ?
Front and Rear Subframes just got powdercoated at AMERITECH, will post pics soon.

going to add some updates. Just met dan's younger brother he came and picked up the turboII trans I had for sale. Nice Kid.
