Hey folks.
Here is my Miata:
-High mileage 90 with a Greddy kit.
-1.8 injectors
-99+ tranny
-Boss frog clear view bar
-Sparco Sprint seat with a Sabelt 6 point
-Tokico blue springs/struts
-Racing Beat sways
-daily wheels: are 15x7 Rota's with 205/50 Azenis fronts, Kumho AST rears
-autocross wheels: Aero 13x8 with 710's.
-NRG removable steering wheel with an NRG 350mm in a rough suede. I'm not concerned with the removable part, but I like the rear set the hub gives me.
-I'm currently very stock with the fuel/ignition (apart from the vortec FPR) management, but will be moving to the EMSpro that my Uncle manufactures.
-Exhaust is the stock Greddy DP to a 2.5", no cat N1 style to help with the lag.
-Typically, I run 6 psi.
I traded for this car about 6 months ago for my well sorted 90 240sx that had a fresh engine, KA24E, and a modest but well thought out suspension. I enjoyed the 240sx for autocross, but I had driven a friends NB with a Jackson supercharger and a simple suspension. I was impressed with the way his car could change direction. I've owned this Miata for about 6 months and really enjoy it's crisp turn-in, even on street tires. I imagine with a set of decent coilovers in about half the value of the mazdaspeed Spec Miata's I should have a decent compromise.
I enjoy autocrossing, a lot. I'm a Chief of Tech with the local SCCA chapter in the AZ Border region. I'm very new to Miata's and hope to help somebody eventually with the experience I get doing my own work. I'll try and stay out from under foot and will throw out what I can, when I can.
See y'all on the boards.
