Default Titus from Dallas

Hi guys... I'm Titus and I live in the Dallas area. I created an account here years ago, but up until today I have only been an occasional lurker. The thread on speculation about V8R's LFX conversion pulled me out of lurker mode.

Pretty car. I've only made it to one Cars and Coffee. It's a long drive for me that goes by a race track. I usually end up pulling into the race track for flogging. LOL.

Thanks. .. i have only been to C&C a few times but it is fun. Not surprised the track is a distraction lol.

Pretty damn nice wide body kit, I have considered fender flares, but haven't seen any that really looked good to me... but that wide body kit looks great!

This thing looks great. Rogue really paid attention to all the little details. They put that bulge in a stock hood?

Rogue is the best. His perfectionism and attention to detail means long wait times, but it is very worth it. The bulge is purely aesthetic, molded onto the top of the stock hood. He wanted to create a more aggressive look with his own hood several years ago, and came up with the design. He now has a mold that he builds up the fiberglass bulge in, and then blends it in to the stock hood. There are several cars in the DFW area that have them now.

Very subtle indeed, I like it and welcome to MT.

No car is ever done though, what are your plans for it?

Thanks.. There are plans for many more changes but nothing will happen fast. I am watching V8Rs LFX conversion kit, but won't jump in to that until it is fully sorted out by others. The wheels will be changed. At the time of the conversion, the XXrs were the only black wheels in 15x9+0 available off the shelf. There are more options now, and whispers of ordering a set of watanabes are frequently heard from the little devil on my shoulder. I will probably focus on the interior at some point, but I still don't have a clear picture in my head of what I want to do there. Lastly is coilovers. The FM springs and KYB shocks were one of the best options available when I installed them 11 years ago, but now there are countless better options to consider.

Probably will ask $250 for them, but I can't imagine I will be ready to swap within the next year.

Wow dude, i'm seriously impressed by your car. Looks great and I usually hate widebody cars.

Also, I ride a "Titus" mountain bike, so I like your name too

Very nice! I know your name from the DFW forum, but this is the first time I've seen pics of your car. Hope to see it in person one of these days.
