Hi all. Is anyone willing to trade their time for a stock 1.6L motor with low compression in 1 cylinder?

I'm buying a 93 Miata that I just want to get running for now. It comes with a stock motor that has low compression in 1 cylinder. That's all I know about it. It also has a spare stock motor that I need dropped in the car. I just want to get it smogged and registered in driveable condition for now. I'm not that mechanically inclined, but am hoping to learn a lot from you guys. Thanks
