Hi All, just bought a turbo miata from Texas on Mother's Day weekend. Had a ton of fun, but we broke down ~250 miles into the trip (with over 1000 miles left to go.) Luckily my brother had both a smartphone and a netbook, as the search button paid off BIG TIME!!! Jumpy tach, started running rough suddenly, and after we parked it it would start then immediately die. Tightened the problem nut, $300 part and $50 cab ride later, and we were back in business.

For now just looking to do some basic maintenance so I know where it stands, and just drive the thing!
