Im trying to get my Caliber SRT4 sold so i can pick up one of these little beasts. Ive had 2 turbo cars. My miata will be the first NA->T. It will be my Project Daily. Look forward to meating yall.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm really looking forward to this little project. I hope to get into one before the weather starts to turn.

 

When do you plan to build your miata? I assume it wont be a DD?

Anyhow Reverant is coming up with a freaking magic Megasquirt unit for our community so...might be worth the wait or you can start building a motor while we all wait for the release.

 

It will probably be my daily for a while. Probably at least a year out from turboing. Still need to sell my car then pick up a 'yata.

I'll have to read up on this. I do have corksport less than 5miles away. Is this pnp? Or is it build for 6 hours, take it to a shop, have them fix your mistakes, and then play? Lol

 

There is PNP too with minor modifications needed. As far as play goes its a lot of reading. I dont think most shops know megasquirt however this forum is full of smarties that are quite helpful with that stuff. Check out the megasquirt section.

I had planned to turbo my e30 but by the time I had the funds I needed something reliable to dd. turbo'd BMW is no dd.
