Default Yo from Colorado Springs

Russell, the new guy here from Colorado Springs area. Bought my first 2002 Miata a few weeks ago. Base model with some added options. Excellent condition with 31k miles. Searching and researching the abundance of info about putting a turbo in my new ride. Currently leaning towards a Flyin Miata package. The thing is, every time I do a search I learn something else I didnt know! Hopefully I can get to a point where I am comfortable spending some $$$.

Welcome to the forum.

Wouldn't hurt to take a trip up to FM and ride/drive some cars. Get an ear full while you're there.

Hey, welcome to mt.net! Hit up matthewsdesigns, he's got a dope 1.6 turbo miata that he made 260whp with. One ride in that car and I guarantee you will be hooked.

Perhaps we could meet up when i make the trip for pikes peak this year .

Welcome to the forum. Funny, that search button has the same effect when I use it

Like Fireindc suggested shoot me a PM if you want to have a look at my car. It's an NA, but you'll see what you are missing regardless.

Default turbo my ride...

Well, the whole reason I am looking to put a turbo in my new ride is a friend I work with brought his NA with an FMII turbo in and let me drive it. HOLY CraP!! I couldnt believe the difference. He was running at 8psi at the time.
It was like it was not gonna stop picking up speed! So, I guess I will be parting with some $$$ in the near future. I may have to take a ride over on the other side of the mountains to visit those Flyin Miata guys too.

LOL - 8psi is "cheap" + "reliable". 12psi is the fine line of "relatively inexpensive" + "relatively powerful" + "relatively reliable"
