Default 01 VVT Turbo build

Good evening!

I have an 01 VVT, and building an MS turbo setup. I have been reading the forum for a few days now, and I am in complete confusion.

My question would be, could someone please help me, which diy megasquirt kit do I need to be able to control VVT, turbo and keep my AC too. I am pretty advanced in soldering, not afraid of assembling the MS. Also would like to know, what exactly need to get, to be able to build a plug in ECU, what sensors and modifications needed and so on. Yes, Ive searched, and yes, I am more confused than ever.

Thank you for helping me out!

Barabas

Ja, aber mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut. Dein Englisch ist viel besser. Du brachst ein MS3 V3.0 mit MS3X fur VVT.

(OK, I can't keep this up and have no idea what the German abbreviation for VVT is!)

My vote is for MS3 Pro Module and Franks adapter board. Cleanest install. Even cleaner than a MSProPNP.

Well I pulled the trigger on main engine parts today. Wiseco pistons and rings, king bearings, arp head studs, cometic head gasket. Other parts are getting ordered once the machine shop matched the bores and got the engine built. Now to shop for megaSQ. Let's start reading all these helpful links.

EXCITED!

850 Looks a little steep for some turbo action. Gosh, I guess, Ill go the harder and cheaper route and probably have some systems failing...

You had the best advise in the 2 posts linked. If you're looking at MS2 then you won't get much help on this site because everyone either has or plans to move on to the MS3 based. Franks stuff is nice and has some good features but is overkill I'd guess for you.

So, here's the list of stuff you need, from the other 2 links and now all you need to do is price + buy + build = enjoy life.

So I built the Jimstim and built the daughter board. Was wondering if the jimstim should be lighting up without being connected to the MS board as I turn it on. Didnt dare plugging it in yet...
Tried, the LEDs aren't working either from the test. Somebody?
