Hi guys just trying to cross check some maps I have to bring accross.
Where can I find some timing maps for a 1600 turbo. Preferably tuned maps not base maps.

Also does anyone have the injector dwell time and voltage dead times for the blue 425cc wrx injectors?

Do NOT use tuned maps - NEVER!

 

Ive saved a 1.6 turbo map out of my 2nd hand ms2 .i can upload it but i suspect they were running different coils since the spark dwell was setup at 3.2ms. I wouldnt recomend on running that full map but maybe it would help you if you compare ignition tables

 

I'm just looking for the timing map.
I'm currently running a piggyback and have compiled a basic map from that... I wanna see if I'm ballpark on numbers

Can you feedback how it worked?im trying to modifie this map into a 1.8 turbo map but id have to know if its a good 1.6 map.it was in a 2nd hand ecu

 

This map looks to be on the safe and retarded side. wont make a ton of power, but shouldnt blow the engine either.

 

it doesnt really work on the 1.8
idles fine but cant get into boost.il try some things later today

 

What do you mean can't get into boost? I don't think using that ignition map would prevent you from seeing boost...

 

couldnt rev over 3k rpm on my 1.8. Now trying to make a 1.8 map work wich is way more advanced above 3k rpm

 

If you are using that map and you cannot rev past 3k, the ignition map is not your problem. Advancing the ignition will not solve that problem either. You have other issues at hand that you are trying to fix with the wrong solutions.

thank you al input is welcome.i wil keep working on the tune as soon as i fixed my bigger problem wich is that my wideband isnt givving a outgoing signal annymore

 

if thats the case then the harmonic ballancer must have slipt because ive checked that many times on fixed timing and got it alighned perfectly.but it can be asumed because it runs pretty high idle when its warmed up.il pull a sparkplug tomorow and check tdc

 

Been working on a 1.8 basemap and runs a bit better.ive checked cranck timing and was spot on.have been messing with accel enrichement and i can rev to 6k it just cuts fuel of after the enrichement.ive deactiveated the o2 sensor but i can see when it leans out. I have a feeling there is a jumper wrong on my pnp board but cant say for sure because of my faulty arf controller. I have made a log and video but il make a new tread for that because this one is about 1.6 timing maps and i dont want to go off topic too much

 

Im now using this ignition map .works pretty good.keep in mind i have a 1.8

 

Bumping this up. Are there any other 1.6 timing maps that people would like to share? Not looking to copy anyone's map, just want to be sure I'm not living on the edge too much.
