1.8 gt2554r adventures
Hello, I figured id post some data for you gurus to view and tell me how bad i am at tuning.
I track the car in the midwest with the occasional street hooning, keeping the engine healthy at the track is a goal. I want NA reliability with turbo fun...
Specs:
97 miata with 180k miles
gt500 injectors
stock fuel pump and regulator
stock coil pack
custom manifold with 2.5 inch exhaust
garret 2554r
MS2PNP
93 octane
Running 245/40/15 vr1 and with front and rear aero.
I have two boost settings. One for the track which is just waste gate, ~9-10 psi. And a fun setting of 15psi. (i have a switch to turn the boost controller off)
Im going to attach the tune and some virtual dyno plots. (these are 3rd gear pulls, finding a place to reach 100mph around me is hard for a 4th gear pull) I want to know what people think of my ignition table and maybe help me with boost.
I was recently at a track day and came across a miata with an almost identical set up, they had a pro tune for 15psi and i was gaining slightly on them with my 9psi. I know my timing is very safe in some areas of the map.
