Default 400 miles in a day

Thats right, i went out on a limb and used my squirted miata to bring a replacement differential to my stocker daily driver miata today which had messed up the rear yesterday. It was stranded in Santa Cruz and I had to save it from the hippies (180 miles from me). I finally finished the swap (done on the street) at 9:20pm PST, and both cars drove home without incident. Anyway, I am just saying I am happy that the Megasquirt which I personally soldered up is reliable enough to do this ... plus with my conservative driving I got 25-26mpg and I'm sure i could do a little bit better with more tuning.

Nice work! Cool to think you built the ECU that runs your car!

That first long trip is a BIG leap of faith. It feels good to get back home in one piece

The first motorsports event (if you do that kinda thing) is another big leap of faith. It feels even better driving home after that

Congrats!!

400 miles in a day running fuel & spark is a milestone - I did it last November: Drove 600 miles for a trackday and drove another 600 miles back the next day, all with the MS.

I drove about 250miles round trip on MSnS only a week after I had it in (with no wbo2 input)....

It was interesting....I guess my failed LC-1 didn't help with the 17mpg (showed lean when rich )....but made 25mpg on the way home after a bit of dyno tuning...
