90-93 diypnp won't hold timing
Hi guys, i'm trying to set timing on trigger wizard but when i hit burn the timing resets.
So say i start with -30 and it holds at 10* once i hit burn it'll go reset.
then i change it to -60 and it holds at 10* then i hit burn and it does it again.
i get all the way to -90 and it holds at 10* and the same **** happens.
can anyone help me? cas is locked tight so i don't understand why it's doing this.

When you go and adjust the ignition base point, the idle speed will change slightly. That may be what is causing the ignition base point to deviate. Your best bet is to adjust the CAS by hand as much as you can, and then just use very small adjustments on TunerStudio. I had the same problem when I was first configuring my ignition and that's what I did. Be sure that the engine speed is at 950 RPM when you adjust it.
If you're burning the settings after setting the base point to -10 (Ignition Map) it will also change to whatever is set on the map, so that would be expected. For me it was set at 15º.
Also, do it while the engine is warm. I'm not sure the results would be the same with a cold engine, I guess that would depend on how you set up your MS.

If you're finding yourself making large changes to the trigger offset, make smaller changes and turn the car off between each of them. I'm going to go search for the description of this, but it was an issue that bit me in the *** with my MS2.
EG: if you want to go from -30 to -60, go from -30 to -40, power off turn back on, go from -40 to -50, etc. sorry for dumbing it down so much.
