Default 90-93 gm iat questions - odd readings

Hi all,

I've got my diypnp running decently well now, but i think the IAT is getting some weird readings.

First of all IAT sensor = MAT reading, correct?

Watching the MAT gauge in the diagnostics screen it either:
A.) stays at 0 degrees and "blips" up 30 degrees and goes back to 0 degrees

or

B.) reads 70 degrees constantly

If i recalibrate as a GM sensor, it seems to randomly pick A/B above.

This is how i have it wired:

I verified that my pigtail connections are good.

Should i test at the ECU connector next? or should I check my MS board? I have the IAT diode installed in the pullup. I'm just unsure what should be my focus next. I'm thinking of retouching all the solder connections on the IAT stuff just to be sure they are solid.

70° constant suggests no connection.

also use pins 1 and 3 (counting from the left). that orange wire in the pic is going to a chassis ground, not a sensor ground.

Thanks brain, i'll give a shot.

Also, thanks all your help so far, you've been a great asset.

Can I mail you a 6-pack?

you can, not sure if ATF/USPS will like it however.
