Default '92 ms3 - rpm drops

Installed a MS3mini (Rev) some weeks ago, having trouble getting the car to run properly.
New to Megasquirt, but did some tuning in the past of my previous car (Saab 900 and 9-5), so I've got a bit of feeling with the basics.

After hooking everyting up got issues with cold start (not starting), idling and stalling while pressing throttle.
Read a lot, watched a lot of youtube, experimented with different settings, got much more understanding about the Miata and Megasquirt, and pretty sure I know what to do.

But, for now, I need a bit of help.
While finding out the right settings for my idle valve using the canbus test mode, I noticed my rpm starts to drop when rpm goes up to around 2000rpm.
I thought maybe some auto corrections are being triggered which affect rpm, so I disabled my idle valve completely by setting it to 'none'.
Then I fired it up again and start playing around with my VE map and using the throttle.
I noticed the same behavior; when I slowly increase RPM to around 2000rpm, it drops a few 100's and then increases to 2000, and drops again.
Not sure what is happening, but I need to solve this too continue.
Logfile attached, any help much appreciated.

'92 USA California spec, totally stock.
Removed stock ECU, installed MS3mini. Got Vaccuum from fuelpressureregulator. Deleted AFM, installed GM IAT sensor in airfilterbox. (of 1.8)
Also installed a VTPS and Innovate MTX-L. (and calibrated both)

Another question, not related to the problem but still interesting: I've read the 90-93 models have an idle valve frequency of 170hz. In tunerstudio, I can only select around 150hz or 200hz. Is there a way to get it to 170hz?

You might look into you fuel cut settings. Since you’re increasing rpm’s without throttle, it’s probably triggering over-run fuel cut.

I will. Thanks.
But, last test with idle valve disabled (in tunerstudio) I could get the same behavior while playing gently with the throttle. Keeping my foot steady at the same position, rpm around 2000. I dont think the over run fuel cut will trigger then?

Just disabled overrun fuelcut, looked at Accel Enrichment, tried different settings, there was something wrong over there.
Problem seems solved for now. Thanks for the help
