Default 93 NA MS2PNP PID'ling around

Files attached.

Started with the 93 NA base file from MSextra. Went through all of PedXing's videos and got the idle seemingly decent. Hadn't touched Idle Advance or PID tuning. Found an old blog post by The Byter, and enabled Idle advance. Tried attempting using CLI PID to make things a little better, but i don't think i've quite got the hang of it. My first question is: What change are you making to watch how EGO control reacts? Just changing a cell in the AFR table that you tend to idle in? Take a look at my settings, because I think I just realized that my "active above RPM=1300" is basically locking out EGO form affecting anything. whoops! Would 800 be more reasonable since a decent idle is around 850?

The biggest problem i'm having is when I push the clutch in, the RPM drops to around 600 before catching and getting up to 750ish. Note, when the clutch is out, the idle is caught well after giving some throttle (ala pedxing video). I ended up leaving the clutch pushed in, tuning for my 850 idle, and then just turning "PID active on switch lockout" to on. That way, my idle settles around 850 clutch in or out, but that feels like i'm cheating somewhere.

I'm also noticing some light...missing?? at idle. The idle feels good, but every once in awhile i'll feel a jolt or a studder. RPM, AFR, and timing looks stable, so i'm feeling a little clueless as to where it's coming from.

and finally, upon looking at the megalog I uploaded, i'm seeing a VE table with values that are waaayyy different than my ve table in tunerstudio. The odd thing is that in the timeline, the ve values DO match what i expect from my tunerstudio file. Adding a pic of my tuner studio compared to megalog

The car is totally driveable and the idle feels pretty good, but I was hoping to get the idle advance and use PID to get it just that much better. Falling flat on my face a bit here.

Why is your spark -5 at 20 kPA? Probably hitting that when throttle is released and stumbling as a result

megalog being weird. this is the real table. the stutter isn't after throttle release. It's happening while sitting at idle. Car accels and decels just fine.

Ok, understood. At 110 seconds in the log the car loses sync and after that point never re-enters closed loop idle. One of the lockout settings is preventing it from entering closed loop idle (most likely) and something is causing it to lose sync, reason 38 which is a generic 4g63 trigger pattern code. Would recommend taking a composite log at idle to look into it a bit more.

New Composite attached. I went from a cold start to fully warm. It seemed to take A LONG TIME to enter CLI. When I was asking about the clutch switch and the rpm drop, I think what I was noticing was the car not being in CLI and therefore not hitting the target RPM. One question I have is why is it showing EGO correction at 100% during the log even before my EGO settings take effect after 160º? The first dip to 700rpm is when I pushed in the clutch for the first time. Still wasn't in CLI IIRC. Once I hit CLI it seems great. Then I took it out for a drive. Still seems like it takes CLI a long time to kick in at a stop light. I turned off EGO and adjusted my idle fuel map just a bit and that tightened things up. The car tends to stall out when I burn, so that may be the synch errors? Attaching the new file and the log. Thanks for the help!

and side question. I'm still running the base ignition map. Would it be a good idea to take TruboK's map and just plop it in my file? Of course I would VEAL again for awhile after that. Does EGO control have to be off to VEAL accurately? I've read both yes and no.
